The BGL team have been working on a number of new products, modules and software upgrades. Over the next few weeks, you will see the release of the new Report Editor, CAS Forms module, BGL Query application and before the end of 2008 a Simple Fund new features release. A CAS release will follow shortly thereafter in January 2009.

The Report Editor allows clients to change any report in CAS, Simple Fund, Simple Invest or Simple Ledger. Changed reports can be used for all reporting or just for the reports prepared by a particular user.

CAS Forms is an exciting new development for BGL clients. This module allows clients to prepare virtually any form for a CAS company. All that is required is an editable PDF version of the form.

BGL Query is a new graphical query application that allows clients to easily prepare sophisticated queries of your CAS, Simple Fund, Simple Invest or Simple Ledger data. Simply select the data you wish to report and click print.

The CAS and Simple Fund teams are working on new feature product releases. These releases will encompass items from the CAS and Simple Fund wish lists as well as a number of compliance changes. In the next few weeks, there will also be a CAS release with the new UK electronic filing.

BGL will be holding breakfast seminars where the CAS and Simple Fund product managers will demonstrate the new applications and also give you a first look of the BGL Portal. Let me encourage all clients to attend these very special events in early November.
